Our guiding principles

We are a BRIDGE connecting volunteers and poor children and their families and through that connection, the lives of all those involved are enriched and changed.

We are INCLUSIVE and welcome people of all traditions who want to help poor people in need.

We are a VOLUNTEER organization with donations from Child Sponsorships going directly to support the needs of children.

We are a very  PERSONAL mission involved where we can "be with" and know the children and families we serve.

We RESPECT the culture of those we serve and those who serve with us.

We VALUE and APPRECIATE the volunteers and donors that enable us to carry out our mission.

Our vision

Friends of Pimpollo will become a bridge to connect volunteers to poor children and their families of Mexican heritage. We will create a hands-on network of volunteers and donors that will seek out and support education-based projects locally and in Mexico that focus on personal and direct involvement.

Our goals

• Design and implement programs and projects with intent of Pimpollo's eventual self-sufficiency
• Develop close & trusting relationships with those we serve
• Raise awareness of the needs of the poor children & families of Mexican heritage
• Develop close alliances with organizations, including local organizations, that align with our Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principals
• Develop, nurture, honor, support and train our volunteer base to insure a productive, long-term involvement
• Provide funds and sponsors to accomplish our goals and objectives
