Amidst the parched flatlands of Juchitan, Mexico, there is an oasis. This oasis doesn't offer food, water and shelter to tired, hungry and thirsty travelers. It is an oasis that offers love, compassion and safe haven to the children of southern Mexico...it is an orphanage called Pimpollo, Ciudad de Niņos or "City of Children".

Thousands of miles north in the United States, a crew of dedicated, energized Friends of Pimpollo (FOP) volunteers work to improve the lives of Pimpollo children and expand the minds and hearts of Americans.

Meet Pimpollo's chidren. It's an experience that will change you.

Identical twins Pablo and Geraldo embrace for a photo.
